BACK-TO-SCHOOL! It is here. We've been to the school for "get your locker and schedule" night and for Algebra I parent night, and the actual, official Back-To-School Night is just around the corner. We are back in the habit of early mornings and packing lunches and homework, and dealing with the increased traffic. As much as we might complain about some of the inconveniences of the start of a new school year, what an enormous privilege we have to live in this area with great, FREE public education available to all. Tim is in 8th grade this year and is continuing in French but ditching out on band. His Algebra class is trying out something called the "flipped classroom." It promises to be a great year for him and we are going to do our best to enjoy every minute of this last year before high school.
